The Economic Programme Oversight Committee, EPOC, says the economy grew by 1.5-percent in the third quarter this year, relative to the corresponding period last last year

The manufacturing industry showed the largest improvement, growing at 9.7-percent with agriculture the next best performer at 3.3-percent.

EPOC says in the services sector, all industries recorded a high level of output, except for government services.

In the meantime, EPOC, says the country recorded a Primary surplus of $53.8-billion in October.

This is well above the target of $44.3-billion.
