Education Minister Fayval Williams, says the government will be creating protocols to ensure COVID-19 positive students can sit their critical exams.
She says these will be provided to schools as soon as possible.
Minister Williams gave the update during a media briefing this morning while acknowledging a rise in COVID-19 cases in schools.
The Education Minister says they’re working in concert with the Health and Wellness Ministry and they’re awaiting approval.
She says students who test positive might be required to sit their exams in special rooms separated from their peers.
