Elaine Thompson and Yohan Blake are among 7-Jamaican winners at the Queensland International Track Classic in Brisbane, today.

Thompson posted 11-point-72-seconds to win race one of the women’s 100-metres, her countrywoman Christania Williams was 2nd in race-2.

Blake signalled his intention to challenge for a medal at the Commonwealth Games when he won race one of the men’s 100-metres in 10.34-seconds, Julian Forte won race two in 10.48-seconds.

The women’s 200-metres went to Sherica Jackson in 23.05-seconds. Stephenie-Ann McPherson won the women’s 400-metres in 51.07-seconds.

Ronald Levy won the men’s 110-metres hurdles in 13.83-seconds. Janieve Russell was second in the women’s 400-metres hurdles.

Meanwhile, Tajay Gayle threw 7.95-metres to win the men’s long jump. O’Dayne Richards was second in the men’s shot put.
