Manchester United will face their third Spanish opponent in this season’s Europa League having been drawn against Sevilla in the quarterfinals.

The Red Devils brushed aside Real Betis in the last round, after taking on Barcelona in the knockout phase and finishing second to Real Sociedad in the group stage.

Sevilla, languishing in 13th place in LaLiga are specialists in Europe’s second tier competition, lifting the trophy a record six times.

The winner of this fixture will face either Juventus or Sporting CP in the semifinal. The Old Lady, having suffered a points deduction in Italy, remain on the hunt for their fourth Europa League triumph. Sporting dumped Arsenal out of this season’s competition on penalties.

On the other side of the draw, Eredivisie, leaders Feyernoord will seek to avenge last season’s Europa Conference League finals defeat to Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.

Meanwhile, Belgium’s surprise quarterfinalist, Union Saint-Gilloise, will face German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

The first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals take place on April 13, with the second leg on April 20

In the Conference League, West Ham have been drawn against Gent. Lech Poznan will face Fiorentina, AZ Alkmaar tackle Anderlecht and Basel face Nice.
