Director of Caribbean Development Research Services, Peter Wickham, says poor developing nations in the Caribbean stand to bear the brunt of rising inflation rates.
Mr Wickham was responding to President of the World Bank, David Malpass’, comment that a recession will inevitably occur in developing countries.
However, Mr Wickham noted that some Caribbean countries are able to cope with increased energy costs.
