A St. Ann man is in custody following the discovery of his 14-year-old son’s body.

The body of 14-year-old student Cashwayne Nevers of Inverness District in St. Ann, was found earlier this morning along a roadway near his home.

The residents who found his body called the police whose investigations found that the deceased’s head had been bashed in.

Reports are that the teenager and his father, Festus Nevers otherwise called “Casha”, had attended a wake in the community earlier and left the event together.

Residents of the community located the father of the deceased and he was later taken into custody.

The Browns Town Police could not give any further information on the matter.

Investigations are ongoing.
