Jamaica Labour Party Caretaker for Eastern St. Andrew, Favyal Williams, says she’s stepping down as Executive Director for Kingston Properties Limited — effective October 31.

Kingston Properties invests in, owns and manages real estate properties.

Mrs. Williams says she’s resigning, as she needs additional time, to focus on her campaign.

The company which was conceptualized by Mrs. Williams and her husband, Leo, in 2007 is now listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

She says she’s proud of her record at the company.

Eastern St. Andrew is one of the most marginal constituencies heading into the election.

The PNP’s Andre Hylton defeated then JLP candidate, Dr. Saphire Longmore by only 254 votes.
