Finance Minister, Dr Nigel Clarke, says the country’s economic growth prospect is dependent on the commencement of the local vaccination campaign in April, as planned.

Dr Clarke says the recently implemented financial reforms are also expected to start delivering results within the next three years.

The Finance Minister says it could take two to four years for the Jamaican economy to return to pre-COVID 19 growth levels.

He says the economy is already heading in a positive direction.

In the meantime, the Finance Minister says the government is assessing the necessity of unveiling more COVID relief programmes.
