Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke, has outlined details of a further attempt to get digital devices into the hands of needy students.

The new $329 million initiative will be undertaken through the SERVE Jamaica Programme guided by Members of Parliament and councilors.

Dr. Clarke made it clear the programme is designed to plug gaps in procurement of digital devices for students and not as a replacement.

The forms to designate the needy students will be provided through the Constituency Development Fund, to benefit upwards of 100 students per constituency.
