Scores of people who appear to be Jamaica Labour Party supporters and members protested this morning against what they say is poor representation by North East St Ann MP, Marsha Smith.
The protestors gathered at the St Ann’s Bay office of the MP from as early as 9 a.m. denouncing the MPs attitude and lack of presence in the communities that make up the Constituency.
They compared the first time MP unfavourably with her predecessor, the late Shahine Robinson.
In videos circulating on social media persons can be heard calling for Smith to go.
In the video persons could be seen trampling on shirts bearing the image of Smith.
Residents were also seen holding placards with the words ‘Waste of Vote’ and ‘Marsha a Stop Prosperity.’
