The Jamaican dollar has lost 8 cents and open against the benchmark US dollar selling for an average $159.87.

Against the Canadian, the Jamaican gained 64 cents and will open selling for an average $113.61.

And finally, the Jamaican dollar has lost $3.48 to the British pound and will begin trading for an average $213.61.
