Four Jamaicans teed-off at the Trinidad and Tobago Open at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort.

The tournament started on Thursday and will runs to March 12.

National Amateur Golf Champion Oshae Haye ended the first round in 23rd place after scoring 13 over par 85.

Zandre Roye, the other Jamaican in the championship category was tied for 14th place along with four other golfers.

He shot eight over par 80 for the first round.

Dr. Mark Newnham and Dave Cameron are competing in the senior category.

Newnham, 81, was in fourth place while Cameron was further back in eighth place on 91.
