The Police say they have information that major gangs in West Kingston have been offering rewards of up to a million dollars for the death of members of the JCF.

Superintendent Lindsay says the threat level against members of the JCF remains extreme.

This means attacks against the Police are highly likely to occur. She is reminding the Police to be cautious.

The Police say major gangs operating in West Kingston have been sending online threats and offering rewards ranging from 100-hundred thousand to a million dollars for the death of members of the JCF.

Superintendent Lindsay says the criminals are especially targeting Police assigned to the Kingston West division.

The Police have maintained a heightened presence in West Kingston, working to prevent gang members from invading the Denham Town and Tivoli communities.
