Glenmuir High school secured their first ISSA rural under-19 netball title with a 95-75 win against Manchester High at the National Indoor Sports Centre, on Thursday.

The Clarendon-based school won all four quarters, with scores of 11-8, 18-7, 27-25, and 39-35.

Coach of Glenmuir, Ryon Reid, says his team benefitted from strong pre-season preparation.

Goal-shooter Shanai Martin ended the match with 29 goals from 34 attempts, while goal-attack Nickeisha Powell completed 10 from 14.

Reid says they are two of his more experience players.

Goal-keeper Fentonian Henry was named most valuable player of the match.
