Golding’s Third Term as President Ratified at PNP Conference

Mark Golding will lead the Opposition PNP in to the next General Election which is constitutionally due in 2025.

The PNP noted in a release that the conference unanimously ratified a third consecutive term for Mr Golding.

There was a change in the Party’s constitution in July that mandated a two year term of office for the president and vice presidents.

Additionally, a resolution was also moved which prohibits a leadership contest the year before a General Election is constitutionally due.

The private session of the party’s conference is now underway. The public session will take place Sunday at the National Arena.
