Audley Shaw says the Simpson-Miller administration must pay the price for entering into an arrangement with the IMF that could result in more taxation and some job losses next year.
Mr. Shaw made the charge while he addressed a JLP meeting at Vere Technical High School on Sunday.
During the 2011 General Election campaign, the PNP had asked Jamaicans to assess whether their lives had improved under the then JLP administration.
Mr. Shaw says Jamaicans must now ask themselves the same question.
Mr. Shaw also criticized the Government for the depreciation of the currency which has resulted in sharp price increases.
