Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the government is aware of the growing frustration among parents and children with online learning.

Mr. Holness noted that the resumption of face to face classes will be closely monitored to prevent an outbreak in schools.

But he says the government is positive.

During a handing over ceremony in his St. Andrew West Central Constituency yesterday, Prime Minister Holness said the pandemic has left parents flustered.

Prime Minister Holness is urging parents to be patient.

Prime Minister Holness noted that not all schools will resume face to face classes at this time.

He reminded students that schools have to meet certain criteria.

The Prime Minister said the government is working hard to prevent an outbreak of the virus in schools.

He noted that schools will go fully online if there is an outbreak.
