Education Minister Fayval Williams says the government has raised nearly $100-million to source electronic devices for needy students.

She notes some parents and guardians have been experiencing challenges applying for the Own Your Own Device initiative.

Minister Williams says there are technical glitches in entering parents’ TRN.

She says in the meantime, distribution of devices will start for those parents eligible.

And she says the Education Ministry is now focussed on the PEP ability test.

She says the test has 40 multiple choice questions in one and a half hours.
