Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for the Environment, Daryl Vaz says he’ll be meeting with all stakeholders in St. Elizabeth next Thursday regarding the persistent dust nuisance from the Alpart mudlake.

Residents have been expressing extreme distress over the most recent dust events in the communities surrounding the plant.

Minister Vaz says among the agenda issues he’ll examine is the plants obligations under the current permit now that it’s not operational.

The Minister says several agencies will be apart of his delegation when he visits next week.
