Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Matthew Samuda, says a series of projects will be outlined by the Government in the coming months on the new direction of the National Water Commission, NWC.
He was speaking at the handing over ceremony of seven water trucks to the NWC.
Samuda says 70% of the water is supplied via house connections through the NWC.
Samuda noted that the NWC produces more than 90% of the country’s potable water supply.
The Minister believes the addition of the seven water trucks will significantly assist in supplying water to NWC customers.
