The curtains came down on the 2024 INSPORTS/Devon Biscuits Primary Schools Athletics National Championships with Central champions Naggo Head being crowned winners with 196 points.

They walked away with $600,000 to go with the $350,000 they got for winning the Central title.

Minister of Sports, Olivia Grange, described the championships as a huge success. However, she believes more emphasis must be paid to the mental health of the athletes.

Minister Grange is calling on more local and international corporate entities to support Jamaica’s track and field at the grassroot level.
