Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton is urging persons due their second doses of vaccine to come forward.

He says nearly 7,000 people have so far received their second dose of the vaccine.

He’s also expressing concern about the number of people sixty-five and over who’ve volunteered to take the jab.

Minister Tufton says those are most vulnerable to complication and death associated with the virus.

He says more will need to be done to convince them to take the vaccine.

Minister Tufton says in the meantime, persons fifty and over can now register to be vaccinated.
