Prime Minister and JLP Leader Andrew Holness says the PNP has no credible argument to present to the electorate on why it should retain control of the parish councils.

Mr. Holness was addressing a meeting in St. Ann last night. He argued that the PNP’s tenure has been stained by corruption and poor governance.

The PNP has control of 12 of the 13 local authorities. Trelawny has an even number of JLP and PNP Councillors.

The JLP Leader urged the electorate to vote out the PNP on November 28.

Mr. Holness says there’s ample evidence of poor management of local government funds on the part of the PNP.
