Leader of the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party, Andrew Holness, has called in Gregory Mair, Member of Parliament for North East St. Catherine and Sharon Hay-Webster to a meeting.

The statement from the party secretariat says Mr. Holness has called in the contesting candidates in North East St. Catherine to discuss concerns raised regarding the seat.

The statement says Mr. Holness noted that the party maintains a strong competitive democratic institution which gives equal opportunity and treatment to all its members.

Mr. Holness stated: “Party members are obliged to abide by the Party’s established rules and use its internal mechanisms to resolve conflicts”.
