Opposition leader, Andrew Holness says he intends to establish two programmes to make the nation’s youth more productive, if he’s returned to office in the next general election.

He says the the National Apprenticeship Programme and the National Service Programme will give youth exposure, experience and introduce them to the world of work.

He was addressing a party rally in Eastern Hanover last night where he introduced Dave Brown as the new caretaker for the constituency.

Mr. Holness says the programmes are aimed at reducing the high cost the country is paying for the mistakes of young people.
