Hurricane Danny has slowed down and is getting stronger as it churns through the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Danny, this morning became the first hurricane of the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season.
It’s traveling west-northwest at 10-miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 80-miles per hour.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Danny’s small size make forecasting its strength very difficult.
Additional strengthening is forecast during the next 24 hours, but some weakening is expected after that.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
