Dancehall artiste J-Capri, whose given name is Jordan Phillips, died this morning at the University Hospital of the West Indies.

The singer had sustained serious head injuries in a car accident on November 23.

That accident, in which her motorcar crashed and overturned, occurred along Barbican Road in St. Andrew.

The 24 year old singer was a graduate of Wolmer’s Girls’ School and attended the Edna Manley School for the Visual and Performing Arts.

She was known for songs such as ‘Pull Up To Mi Bumper’ and ‘Whine and Kotch’.
