The J. Wray & Nephew, JWN group says it has intensified efforts to play its part in getting Jamaica back to normality by supporting vaccination efforts.

Yesterday, the Group hosted representatives of the Ministry of Health and Wellness at its Spanish Town Road Head Office where staff members, staff dependents and members of the surrounding communities were vaccinated.

Approximately 300 JWN staffers, their dependents and member of the community were inoculated with the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.

The activity took place between 10:00 and 5:00pm.

JWN Managing Director Jean-Phillipe Beyer kick started the event by leading officials on a tour of the vaccination site.

State Minister of Health and Wellness, Juliet Cuthbert Flynn was among the officials in attendance.

In 2020, J. Wray & Nephew donated 5-million dollars towards Jamaica’s efforts to recover from Covid-19.

The Group says it remains committed to supporting the Private Sector Vaccine Initiative, PSVI.
