Jamaica has been drawn in Group B for next year’s Copa América football tournament in the United States.
The draw for the tournament took place on Thursday night in Miami.
Jamaica will play alongside Concacaf hotshot México, Venezuela and Ecuador.
Reggae Boyz coach Heimer Hallgrimson says with the draw, Jamaica has a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.
The tournament will run from June 20 to July 14 and Jamaica’s opening game will be on June 22 against México.
Defending champions Argentina will play in Group A with Peru, Chile and either Canada or Trinidad and Tobago.
Group C will consist of Bolivia, Uruguay, Panama and the United States.
While Group D has Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and either Costa Rica or Honduras.
This will be Jamaica’s third appearance at the tournament following stops un 2015 and 2016.
