Track and field analyst, Hubert Lawrence, expects Jamaica to improve on the 11 medals it won at the 2008 Olympics, at the world championships which begins later today.

He says, given the form and natural potential of the athletes in contention, there’s no reason Jamaica should not be expected to medal in all the events currently held, plus more.

He notes the importance of fielding athletes in non-traditional sporting disciplines, like the field events
