The leader of the Opposition Labour Party in Britain, Jeremy Corbyn, says Jamaica deserves much more than just an apology for slavery.

Mr. Corbyn spent two years in Jamaica doing voluntary work, after leaving high school in the late 1960s.

Mr. Corbyn says the least Britain could do to atone for the benefits gained from slaves in Jamaica, is increase its trade and investment in the island.
