Jamaica ended the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars under-17 Super 50 Championships in third place with 14.2 points after suffering a 13 runs lost against Barbados in their final match of the tournament in Trinidad and Tobago, yesterday.
Batting first, Barbados made 127, with Nathan Sealy to scoring with 45.
Reon Edwards, Nashane Meade and Deshawn James each took 2-wickets for Jamaica.
In reply, the Jamaicans were bowled out for 114, with Brian Barnes making 39 and Adrian Weir 35.
Jatario Prescod finished with figures of 3 for 15, while Jaden Lorde and Rashad Worrell each bagged two wickets.
The Windward Islands topped the 6-team table with 17-point-8 points.
They are followed by Barbados with 14-point-8 points, fourth went to Trinidad and Tobago with 12, Guyana finished 5th on 11-point-6 points.
Meanwhile, the Leeward Islands finished at the foot of the table with 8-point-8 points.
