The Jamaica Scorpions will resume today’s second day of the fourth round of the West Indies regional cricket championships, on 282 for 6, against the Guyana Harpy Eagles.

Jermaine Blackwood will seek to add to his brilliant century, as he will continue today on 110, he will be joined by wicket-keeper Aldane Thomas, who cracked 35 from just 40 deliveries with eight boundaries.

There were also good contributions on day one, from Alwyn Williams (51) and captain John Campbell (37).

Over at Port of Spain, the Leeward Island Hurricanes will resume on 301 for 9 against the Windward Island Volcanoes. The Hurricanes were led by an unbelievable unbeaten century of 104 from number 10 batter Colin Archibald. He has so far smashed 13 fours and 4 sixes.

Meanwhile, over at Tarouba, the defending champions the Barbados Pride will resume on 87 for 2. This is in reply to Trinidad and Tobago Red Force’s disappointing 133 all out yesterday. No batter got past 30, with Imran Khan top scoring with 29.

Raymon Reifer (32) And Jonathan Carter (19) will resume batting later this morning for the Pride.
