Jamaica lost by seven wickets to the Windward Islands at Liberta today in the second round of games in the West Indies Rising Stars Under 15 cricket competition.

Tyson Gordon 51 and Ryan Lyttleton 61 top scored for Jamaica in their 193 for 8.

The Windwards replied with 198 for 3 with ten overs to spare.

Earsinho Fontane slammed an impressive 93 to lead the victory chase against Lyttleton who grabbed 2 for 28.

At Bethesda, Barbados crushed the Leeward Islands by 94 runs.

The Bajans piled up 327 for 4 on the back of 105 from DJ Wiggins and Jahidi Hinds 81.

The Leewards replied with 233 all out…Only Lashorn Bergan 50 and Josh Edwards 48 made any useful contribution.

At Coolidge defending champions Trinidad and Tobago lost by 9 wickets to Guyana.

Afrif Khan grabbed 5 for 18 as T-and-T was skittled out for 83 in 24 overs.

Guyana easily achieved victory with 84 for 1 in 18 overs.

The competition continues on Saturday with Jamaica facing Guyana at Bethesda.
