Prime Minister Andrew Holness is condemning this morning’s terror attacks in Belgium.

In a statement today from the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Holness says both the Government and people of Jamaica are expressing deep sympathies to the Belgian people.

He has extended condolences to the families of those who’ve lost their lives and is praying for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The Prime Minister says Jamaica’s commitment to world peace and value for the sanctity of human life sees us standing in solidarity with the Belgian people at this time.

He says an unmistakable signal must be sent to the enemies of freedom and humanity, that their campaign of terror will not break our spirit nor dampen our resilience as proponents of world peace.
