A recent study by the International Labour Organization, ILO, shows that Jamaicans are more productive than their counterparts in Trinidad and Tobago.

The study was commissioned by Kelvin Sergeant, a specialist at the ILO’s regional office in T&T.

Speaking at a Productivity Forum in San Fernando yesterday, Sergeant said he was shocked that T&T is less productive than Jamaica.

According to Trinidad’s Newsday Newspaper, Sergeant said the report clearly shows that productivity is declining in Jamaica, Barbados, T&T, Canada and the United States.

Nationwide News has requested a copy of the report.
