Jamaica’s team of four swimmers is in Cali, Colombia for the inaugural Junior Pan American Games to be held from November 25 to December 5.

Sabrina Lyn and Nathaniel Thomas, left the island with national coach Wendy Lee.

Meanwhile, Gabrianna Banks and Kyle Sinclair who are student athletes at university in the United States, joined the team in Florida enroute to Colombia.

Lyn will be the first swimmer to bow into action tomorrow, when she competes in the 100-metres breaststroke. She will also compete in the 100-metres butterfly and 100-metres freestyle.

Banks, is set to compete in the 50, 100 and 200 metres freestyle.

Thomas will be the first male in action, he competes in the 100-metres butterfly on November 27.

He will also compete in the 100-metres freestyle and 100-metres backstroke.

Kyle Sinclair will compete in his first individual event, the 100-metres freestyle on November 28.

Other events in which he will compete include the 50-metres freestyle and the 100-metres backstroke.

Apart from their respective individual events, the swimmers will compete in two mixed relays: the 4-by-100-metres freestyle and 4-by-100-metres Medley relay.

The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for today.
