Prime Minister Andrew Holness says if the spate of industrial action by workers in the public sector continues, it will significantly impact the country’s revenue.

Workers from air traffic control and the National Water Commission, NWC, were on strike this week.

On Friday, workers of the National Housing Trust, NHT, walked off the job protesting what they say is the non-implementation of an outstanding job evaluation exercise.

Prime Minister Holness says the government has to maintain a balance in addressing all the sectors.

He says the protests are not in the best interest of the people.

The prime minister is reiterating that public sector workers  desist from using industrial action to air their grievances.
