Senior Communications Strategist at the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF, Dennis Brooks, is warning persons that some of the pranks recently captured on video may be unlawful.
The pranks are being staged in Half Way Tree, St. Andrew, with the victims being unsuspecting members of the public.
Some of the pranks, which have gone viral on social media, have shown YouTubers appearing to stage crimes such as armed robberies.
The pranksters have also suggested they have a body concealed in a suitcase they wished to transport.
Mr. Brooks says persons who may have been pranked should report the matter to the police.
In at least one prank, a woman is seen breaking down in tears.
