A Jamaica Defence Force Officer was shot and wounded in Retirement, St. James, where there’s a State of Public Emergency in effect.
The incident happened on Monday evening.
Acting Head of the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, Assistant Superintendent Dahlia Garrick, says the soldier was shot shortly after arriving at his home.
Assistant Superintendent Garrick says the police are probing the incident. St. James has been under a State of Public Emergency since January.
