The Jamaica Football Federation has named a mixture of local and overseas based players to the 20-member squad for the 2023 Concacaf Women’s Under-20 championship in the Dominican Republic, from May 22 to June 3.

The young Reggae Girlz are scheduled to travel to the Championships on Saturday.

They are drawn in group ‘A’ with United States, Canada, and Panama.

Group ‘B’ include, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic.

After round-robin play, the two best teams from each group will advance to the competition’s knockout stage.

All knockout stage matches will be played in a single-match elimination format, with the two finalists and the third-place match winner qualifying for next year’s FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.

Jamaica’s first match will be against Canada on May 24, two days later they’ll take on the USA, before playing Panama on May 28.
