The governing Jamaica Labour Party, JLP leads the opposition People’s National Party, PNP, by 4% with three months to go before a general election is due.
That’s according to the latest Nationwide/Bluedot polls, powered by Total Tools.
Thirty-five per cent of Jamaicans say they would vote for the JLP, as opposed to the 31% who say they would back the PNP.
Chief Consumer Insights Officer at Bluedot, Jenee Stephens Taylor, revealed the party standings on Friday.
The PNP has gained three points since February 2025, while the JLP has lost a point over the same period.
Based on the poll findings, veteran journalist and public commentator, Cliff Hughes, says the election would be very close if it were held today.
The Nationwide/Bluedot polls were conducted between May 2 and 17.
It sampled 1,618 registered voters across all 14 parishes. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3%.
