Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Opposition JLP, Senator Robert Montague is calling for the Police High Command and Local Government Minister, Noel Arscott, to ensure that speedy investigations are carried out into the alleged visa fraud that has implicated Deputy Mayor Troupe and PNPYO Constituency Chairman, Chevan Maxwell.

Nationwide News disclosed last Thursday that Maxwell presented a letter to the US Embassy in Kingston, in support of his visa application.

The job letter purportedly containing Mr. Troupe’s signature, falsely alleged that Maxwell is an employee of the parish council.

Senator Montague says he understands that the matter has not been properly turned over to the Police.

Senator Montague says the implications of the controversy surrounding Deputy Mayor Troupe, are grave.
