Government Relations and Public Policy Executive at Jamaica National, Oneika Miller, says the company is taking measures to minimize the impact of de-risking on customers.

Jamaica National is among several financial institutions which have been cut off from some correspondent banks abroad.

The foreign banks say it’s too risky to do business with many in the Caribbean, and have dropped them as clients, in what’s called a de-risking exercise.
