A Jordanian enterprise, Oasis 500, is to pump, almost 1-hundred-thousand-US-dollars into three Jamaican mobile startup companies.
In return, the mobile startups, CrimeBot, RevoFarm and Vinelist, will give up a 10-percent stake each to the enterprise.
This is the first major investment by a foreign company in new mobile ventures.
State Minister for Technology, Julian Robinson says the founders of the three mobile-based companies, are to visit Jordan for just over three months for an acceleration programme.
