The government will be soon launching a project to test the feasibility of using Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) in buses of the state-owned Jamaica Urban Transit Company.

Transport Minister, Mike Henry, made the announcement in the House of Representatives yesterday as he made his contribution to the 2017/2018 Sectoral Debate.

Minister Henry says this will lead to a more environmentally friendly fleet of buses. He says the pilot will be of no additional cost to the country.
