Lady Patricia Allen is calling for educators who are considered the best to be placed in early childhood institutions.
She was delivering the keynote address at the Kitson Town Builder’s Awards Ceremony in St. Catherine.
Lady Allen, he wife of Jamaica’s Governor General, is also lobbying for greater protection for young boys, who she says are being left behind.
Lady Allen says Jamaica’s male population is being left behind.
She says more women need to learn how to speak with young men to prevent them from doing wrong.
