The Jamaica Medical Doctor’s Association, JMDA, has joined calls for the Government to consider the implementation of a work from home order in sectors which are able to accommodate the arrangement.

The doctors say the order could be made for businesses and companies which can accommodate it.

The JMDA says while it’s guided by scientific data and the country’s chief epidemiologist, its concerned about the mass movement of citizens outside of the curfew hours.

Dr. Mindi Fitz-Henley is the President of the Association.

She says a number of the citizens are flouting Covid protocols during day time hours.

Dr. Fitz-Henley says it’s high time Jamaicans start to faithfully observe the Covid protocols.

She’s pleading with citizens for their compliance.
