Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, is calling for several state owned enterprises to be listed on the Jamaica Stock exchange as a means of promoting transparency and efficiency.

Speaking at a function at the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Monday, Mr. Holness says this will be done under a JLP administration.

The Opposition Leader concedes that not all state owned entities are eligible for listing.

But he says the JLP is already exploring how it could list the National Water Commission, NWC, as a publicly traded company.
