Reggae Boyz defender, Damion Lowe, is taking the operators of the National Stadium to task over what he describes as the horrible state of the pitch during Friday night’s win over Honduras in the Concacaf Nations League.
Lowe was captain for the encounter against the Central American team. The usual skipper, goalkeeper Andre Blake, was unavailable.
Jamaica won the game, thanks to a 64th minute strike from Demarai Gray.
But the game lacked fluidity in large part due to the choppy nature of the stadium’s turf.
Speaking post game with video bloggers, This or That Sports TV, Lowe says Reggae Boyz games should be moved away from the National Stadium.
